O TEP (Portugal) e o Teatro La María (Chile) unem-se numa obra que reflete sobre a figura de Fernão de Magalhães e a sua viagem ao Estreito, instalando diferentes abordagens cénicas que — fugindo de uma simples anedota histórica e de uma ordem cronológica — questionam, profanam e mergulham na aventura de um grupo de homens face ao desconhecido, à conquista e à mudança de paradigma, numa montagem que mistura estilos, opiniões e visões; um veículo de transgressão, onde os dois grupos criativos (portugueses e chilenos) transfigurarão as suas questões, dúvidas e conflitos em cenas que, talvez, respondam a um espetáculo de sedição. A mesma sedição que ocorreu naqueles antigos navios no meio do oceano e, depois, na conquista sangrenta das terras “descobertas”.

The TEP (Portugal) and Teatro La María (Chile) unite in a work that reflects on the figure of Fernão de Magalhães and his journey to the Straits, installing different scenic approaches that — fleeing from a simple historical anecdote and an order chronological — they question, desecrate and delve into the adventure of a group of men facing the unknown, conquest and paradigm shift, in a montage that mixes styles, opinions and visions; a vehicle of transgression, where the two creative groups (Portuguese and Chilean) will transform their questions, doubts and conflicts into scenes that, perhaps, respond to a spectacle of sedition. The same sedition that occurred in those ancient ships in the middle of the ocean and, later, in the bloody conquest of the "discovered" lands.
